Job Description
REQUIRED EDUCATION
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Manufacturing, production, packaging, or equipment operation experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn technical equipment.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs, work instructions, operator manuals, and other workplace documentation.
• Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and metric measurements.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a production line team.
• Willingness to work overtime based on production requirements.
• Ability to meet the physical and occupational requirements of the position.

SUMMARY
Join a pharmaceutical manufacturing team responsible for operating high-speed packaging lines that produce quality pharmaceutical products. As a Pharmaceutical Packaging Technician, you will work as part of a line team performing equipment setup, changeovers, operation, troubleshooting, cleaning, quality inspections, and material handling.

This is a hands-on manufacturing position for someone who enjoys working with machinery, solving equipment problems, following detailed procedures, and contributing to production goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Set up and operate pharmaceutical packaging equipment and production lines.
• Perform equipment changeovers between different products, including mechanical adjustments, disassembly/assembly, and equipment cleaning.
• Operate and monitor equipment including fillers, cappers, labelers, vision systems, conveyors, cartoners, case packers, palletizers, and related machinery.
• Troubleshoot equipment stoppages, jams, and operating issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance activities as trained.
• Establish and adjust equipment operating parameters to support efficient production while meeting product specifications.
• Inspect packaging components, in-process materials, and finished pharmaceutical products for quality and compliance.
• Identify non-conforming materials or products and follow appropriate procedures for corrective action.
• Perform material handling and palletizing using forklifts, walkie stackers, pallet jacks, and other equipment as trained.
• Complete accurate electronic and paper production documentation.
• Follow GMP/cGMP, OSHA, Lockout/Tagout, SOP, safety, and company requirements.
• Meet production schedules while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and documentation.
• Work collaboratively with other line team members and support training and knowledge sharing.
