Job Description
Required Experience:
• 1–3 years of digital media experience, ideally in a production assistant or similar digital content
Required Qualifications:
• Industry & Editorial Knowledge: Strong familiarity with the podcasting landscape and solid editorial instinct for identifying and clipping high-engagement moments.
• Corporate Communication: Proven ability to communicate effectively, professionally, and collaboratively across all organization levels and teams.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work occasional nights, weekends, and holidays as sports/news coverage demands.
• Meticulous Attention to Detail: Absolute accuracy with metadata, asset naming, file management, and quality control is a critical requirement.
• Adaptability & Resilience: Our team is navigating operational updates. Candidates must be comfortable with change, flexible through evolving processes, and open to temporary duplication of effort as new workflows are adopted.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior entertainment/news experience is a nice to have
Required Technical Skills:
• Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS), web publishing platforms, and video services like YouTube (including metadata management and file handling).
• Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop for thumbnails and Premiere for basic video editing).
Job Overview:
• Looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Programming Associate / Production Assistant to support the growth, visibility, and daily distribution of our expansive podcast portfolio. In this role, you will help manage podcast distribution across divisions.
• The ideal candidate is a proactive, cross-functional operator with excellent communication skills, a strong eye for detail, and basic editing capabilities. You will work closely with programming teams, podcast managers, producers, and key stakeholders to publish content, track performance, and maintain seamless daily operations.
Responsibilities:
• Publishing & Media Management: Upload full podcast episodes, clips, vertical video assets, and thumbnails across web platforms, content management systems (CMS), and video services (such as YouTube), ensuring accurate metadata entry.
• Content Creation Support: Utilize Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Premiere) to edit short-form content, produce video clips from broader podcast moments, and create promotional thumbnails.
• Stakeholder & Team Collaboration: Communicate daily in a corporate environment with production, marketing, editorial, product, and sales teams to ensure publishing schedules run smoothly.
• Backend Setup: Coordinate with internal teams on backend publishing needs to set up and launch podcast show pages, playlists, and VOD distributions.
• Performance Tracking: Assist in reviewing performance data and sharing engagement metrics with broader stakeholder groups.
• Feedback & Quality Control: Accept editorial critique constructively and take proactive initiative to implement edits and corrections promptly. - **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.**
