Job Description
***Only qualified Product Development Coordinator (Entry-Level) candidates located near Manhattan, NY to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence. ***



Our client is the world's largest intimates' specialty retailer offering a wide assortment of modern, fashion-inspired collections including signature bras, panties, lingerie, casual sleepwear, swim and athleisure, as well as award-winning prestige fragrances and body care.



Preferred Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Product Development, Production, Operations, Apparel Product Lifecycle or equivalent experience



Required Skills, Experience, & Abilities:

• 2-5 years product development experience.

• Fashion industry experience

• Detail oriented, organized, team player, drive to learn.

• Proficient Microsoft Suite/basic, modern computer functions (Excel, usual computer communications and shortcuts).



Desired:

• Centric PLM experience



Role:

Individual contributor responsible for coordinating the development of products. Typical day includes: Vendor communication, meetings with design team, updating Bill of Materials, working on product development projects, maintaining costing charts and tools for merchants/planning reference.



Responsibilities:

• Monitors development process for product line.

• Acts as point person on development details with vendor partners and cross-functional teams.

• Creates and updates seasonal development charts, WIPs, readiness decks, etc.

• Coordinates workflow of weekly updates to ensure timely communication with vendors, production, technical, and merchandising.

• Tracks development to assure execution is within timeframes.

• Communicates design development details.

• Will report to Product Developer and will not have direct reports.
