Product Owner / Portfolio Manager Overview

• Serves as a key liaison between business and IT teams to ensure successful delivery of technology solutions

• Responsible for managing a portfolio of IT products and applications, ensuring alignment with business needs and strategic goals

• Oversees the full product lifecycle from planning through deployment and continuous improvement

• Works closely with stakeholders including business SMEs, internal teams, vendors, and external agencies to define scope and implement solutions

• Drives product strategy through backlog prioritization, roadmap planning, and performance monitoring

• Leads cross-functional teams to ensure collaboration, efficiency, and delivery of high-quality solutions

• Utilizes performance data and user feedback to guide continuous improvement and optimize product outcomes

• Ensures compliance with governance standards, policies, and regulatory requirements



Job Duties

• Manage a portfolio of IT products and applications, ensuring successful completion and alignment with business needs

• Serve as a Product Owner guiding products through all lifecycle stages

• Collaborate with business SMEs, internal teams, external agencies, and vendors to define product scope and solutions

• Create and prioritize product backlogs and maintain strategic roadmaps

• Oversee product releases, deployment readiness, performance monitoring, and risk management

• Define and track performance metrics aligned with governance requirements

• Manage vendor relationships, ensuring SLA adherence and resolving interoperability issues

• Oversee IT financials including budget planning and monitoring

• Provide leadership updates on product status, risks, and roadmap progress

• Lead and manage cross-functional fusion teams to deliver solutions aligned with business needs

• Partner with leadership to allocate resources and monitor team performance

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint reviews and user story development

• Use feedback and metrics to refine product features and delivery

• Collaborate with leadership and product teams to prioritize development efforts

• Build and maintain strong relationships with business teams to support collaboration and issue resolution
