Job Summary:

Partners closely with customers (internal and external), the business line(s) and Agile teams to drive the evolution of the assigned product(s). Maintains and refines product backlog; creates user stories and acceptance criteria and prioritizes all stories to ensure work focuses on those with maximum business value that align with product strategy. Acts as primary liaison between the business and Agile teams, ensuring the teams understand vision for the products. Work closely in a hands-on style with the development team, including addressing daily prioritization needs, providing real-time feedback and answering questions on an ongoing basis. Works with Product Management to set release dates, determine when sufficient value has been delivered to release to market, understand tradeoffs between schedule, scope and budget and communicates this information to the organization. Employs product management practices and tactics, including customer research, data and analytics, and market research.



Team Level Product Managers are customer-obsessed in driving product planning, visioning, development, management, and customer experience to deliver on our human plus digital product strategy and staying one step ahead of evolving economic, technological, and customer needs. Pulls from market and competitive insights, customer needs, and internal business priorities to create the product vision (target customer segments, markets, channels, go-to-market approach, and value propositions). Aligns this strategic vision with cross-functional stakeholders to shape product roadmap, investment areas and success measures.



Job Duties:

• Aligned to a single Agile team that includes the Product Manager, System Engineers/Architects, Software Engineers, and a Scrum Master.

• Leads Agile ceremonies such as Daily Stand Ups, Demos, Retros, and other essential Agile practices.

• Partners with the Product Level Product Manager(s) to understand features and product needs.

• Manages the team’s backlog, responsible for detailed refinements of Features into Epics and User Stories that can be worked by the Software Engineers in a single sprint.

• Responsible for Product Roadmaps and prioritization of Epics and Stories that drive the team’s output.

• Ensures that all acceptance criteria are met and stakeholder needs are satisfied by the team’s delivered experiences.

• Provides Agile leadership focusing on design thinking and Agile values.

• Coordinates dependencies with other teams and journeys.
