Job Description
Only qualified Product Analyst – Operational Cutover Lead (OMS Migration) candidates located near the Columbus Ohio area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence.



Required Skills, Experience, & Abilities:

- 5+ years of experience in product, business analysis, program coordination, or operations

- Experience supporting large-scale system implementations, migrations, or launches

- Experience working cross-functionally with both technical and business teams

- Strong ability to translate technical concepts into business impacts

- Experience creating runbooks, operational plans, or launch playbooks

- Familiarity with OMS platforms, specifically Manhattan Active Omni, e-commerce operations, or retail fulfillment workflows

- Process redesign definition

- Alignment through collaboration

- Cross-functional coordination

- Risk identification and management

- Runbook Creation and execution

- Strong communication under pressure



Desired Skills, Experience, & Abilities:

- Experience working alongside technical program managers, release managers, or cutover leads

Role:

The Product Analyst – Operational Cutover Lead will support the Order Management System (OMS) migration program by owning business and operational readiness and leading the operational execution of cutover activities, reporting to the program’s Business Delivery Lead.

This role will work in close partnership with a Technical Cutover Lead, who is responsible for system, data, and infrastructure migration activities. Together, these roles will ensure a coordinated, end-to-end transition from legacy systems to the new OMS platform.

The Product Analyst will act as the bridge between business operations and technical teams, ensuring that operational workflows, teams, and processes are fully prepared for launch and aligned with the technical cutover plan.



Key Responsibilities:



Operational Cutover Leadership

- Own the operational cutover plan, meeting with business leads to ensure all business and operational activities are defined, sequenced, and aligned to the technical cutover timeline

- Partner directly with the Technical Cutover Lead to synchronize:

* System cutover timing

* Data migration dependencies

* Environment readiness

* Go/no-go decision criteria

- Translate technical cutover activities into business impacts and operational actions

- Partner with business leads to identify and document business impacts and operational actions related to technical cutover activities

- Ensure clear alignment between technical milestones and operational execution steps



Joint Cutover Planning (Business + Technical Alignment):

- Co-develop an integrated end-to-end cutover plan with the Technical Cutover Lead

- Identify and manage cross-dependencies between:

* System changes and business processes

* Data availability and operational workflows

* Platform readiness and customer experience

- Participate in and help drive cutover command center structure, roles, and escalation paths



Operational Readiness:

- Ensure all business teams are prepared for cutover, including:

* Customer Care

* Fulfillment / Warehouse

* Store Operations

* Finance / Payments

- Validate that operational processes function correctly in alignment with technical system states (pre-, during-, and post-cutover)

- Define business readiness criteria required for go-live



Cutover Runbook & Rehearsals:

- Develop and maintain the operational cutover runbook, including:

* Business activities during cutover window

* Timing relative to technical events

* Decision points and checkpoints

* Rollback/contingency procedures from a business perspective

- Partner with the Technical Cutover Lead to execute mock cutovers / dress rehearsals

- Capture gaps and ensure remediation prior to launch



Execution & Command Center Support:

- Serve as the operational lead during cutover execution

- Participate in the cutover command center, ensuring:

* Business teams are informed and executing as planned

* Issues are triaged and escalated appropriately

* Operational impacts are clearly communicated

- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the Technical Cutover Lead during live cutover



Post-Cutover Stabilization:

- Coordinate business-side stabilization efforts post-launch

- Monitor operational KPIs (order flow, fulfillment, cancellations, customer contacts, etc.)

- Partner with technical teams to resolve issues impacting operations

- Lead post-mortem and lessons learned from an operational perspective



Success Metrics:

- Seamless coordination between operational and technical cutover activities

- Successful OMS cutover with minimal customer and business disruption

- Clear alignment between business readiness and technical readiness

- Effective execution of cutover rehearsals and launch plan

- Rapid stabilization and issue resolution post-launch
