Job Description
We are seeking an Entry-Level Procurement Buyer to join a growing procurement organization supporting hospitality operations throughout the Las Vegas region. This role will focus on sourcing, purchasing, and supplier coordination across various indirect spend categories, including Hospitality, Facilities, and Marketing.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional interested in procurement, supply chain, vendor management, or sourcing. While procurement experience is preferred, we are also interested in candidates who are highly organized, customer-service oriented, detail-focused, and eager to learn.
Key Responsibilities
• Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders in accordance with company procurement policies.
• Support sourcing and competitive bidding activities for hospitality, facilities, and marketing-related purchases.
• Obtain and analyze supplier quotes to identify cost-effective purchasing solutions.
• Coordinate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, delivery schedules, and order status.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and vendor information within procurement systems.
• Track orders, manage backorders, and communicate delivery updates to stakeholders.
• Assist in supplier evaluation and development activities.
• Research pricing trends and support cost-saving initiatives.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and pricing issues in partnership with Accounts Payable.
• Generate procurement reports and maintain purchasing trackers.
• Build strong relationships with internal customers and suppliers to ensure a high level of service.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Supply Chain, Hospitality, Finance, or related field.
• Procurement, purchasing, customer service, administrative, hospitality, or operations experience preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong customer service mindset and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
