• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field based on industry norms for senior procurement roles

• Deep strategic sourcing and cost optimization expertise
• Strong procurement and sourcing background (senior-level)
• Category-specific analysis and sourcing strategy development
• Supplier negotiation approaches and commercial leverage identification
• Ability to challenge assumptions and opportunity sizing
• Assess category-level savings potential and feasibility
• Identify additional procurement value levers

Job Description
• International Procurement is launching Wave 3 of an enterprise savings initiative focused on identifying and executing procurement cost reduction opportunities across multiple spend categories
• An initial opportunity hypothesis and savings baseline have already been established
• A newly formed project team is seeking an experienced procurement industry expert to support refinement, validation, and execution strategy of identified opportunities
o Review existing savings hypotheses and opportunity pipelines
o Assess category-level savings potential and feasibility
o Identify additional procurement value levers and sourcing opportunities
o Challenge assumptions and improve opportunity quality
o Lead and facilitate working sessions with procurement teams and stakeholders
o Drive structured discussions around category strategies and savings opportunities
o Help align stakeholders on priorities, risks, and execution approaches
o Provide industry expertise across strategic sourcing and procurement cost optimization
o Support category-specific analysis and sourcing strategy development
o Advise on supplier negotiation approaches and commercial leverage opportunities
o Share market best practices and benchmarks where applicable
o Help define actionable savings execution strategies
o Assist in prioritizing initiatives based on impact, complexity, and timing
o Support development of implementation roadmaps and execution sequencing
o Provide recommendations and executive-level insights to Procurement leadership
