The Procurement Support CW will play a pivotal role in optimizing the organization's procurement operations, overseeing and enhancing the quality of procurement requests and the accurate and efficient sourcing of commodities. This position demands exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical and organizational skills, and superior communication abilities. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in advanced procurement functions, including strategic supplier management, complex sourcing triage, robust quality assurance frameworks, sophisticated third-party risk management, and advanced procurement systems.



Scope:

• Strategic oversight of Purchase Requisition and Purchase Order Change Request Quality

• Control, including developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives

• Advanced Sourcing Triaging (Categories: Technology, Marketing, Services, Media, Rest of World (ROW), New Supplier), including complex problem-solving and process optimization

• Leadership and mentorship for Procurement Operations, including training and development of the Procurement Buy Desk Advisor team



Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for strategically validating and optimizing procurement requests, including but not limited to:

• Ensures compliance with SOX regulations and company policies while identifying opportunities for improvement

• Conducts in-depth contract reviews to cross-reference contract value, item type, currency, service dates, payment terms, and billing, identifying and resolving discrepancies

• Builds and maintains strong relationships with sourcing managers to gain a deep understanding of the nuances of each commodity and contract, as well as the specific exceptions within each sector

• Collaborates cross-functionally with the Supplier Data Management team to ensure accurate, timely, and strategic supplier/pay site creation and management

• Implements and oversees robust quality checks, ensuring assigned tasks are completed accurately, promptly, and to a high standard

• Collaborates with the Tech team to address interface errors by logging POs and tracking issues through JIRA tickets

• Assists management by providing aging reports for pending requests across Swift, Coupa, Triage, Buy Desk (PR & POCR), Contract Operations team, and the Oracle system.

• Guides requesters through the process and provides assistance as needed to successfully submit their requests

• Overseeing and refining sourcing triaging workflows, including but not limited to:

• Verify data across various dashboards to ensure accurate reporting for Triage, Buy Desk, and Contract Operations teams, while identifying and recommending process improvements

• Validating PRs and POCRs for required minimum viable information and applying advanced Sourcing Triage tagging, driving consistency and efficiency

• Assigning 3PRM lead determined by a thorough and strategic review of the taxonomy, optimizing risk assessment

• Leveraging comprehensive Triage Reporting to make data-backed Sourcing

• Project driver assignments to requests, informing strategic decisions

• Maintaining end-to-end ownership and accountability for the basic request process from initiation to completion, ensuring seamless execution
