Procurement Coordinator Job Summary:
We are seeking a Procurement Coordinator to support strategic purchasing initiatives, supplier management, contract activities, and procurement operations. This role works closely with internal business partners, Finance, Accounting, and external suppliers to improve purchasing processes, ensure compliance, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented procurement professional with strong analytical skills, experience managing supplier relationships, and the ability to evaluate purchasing data to support business decisions.
Procurement Coordinator Job Responsibilities:
• Manage competitive bidding activities by sourcing suppliers, evaluating proposals, analyzing costs, and supporting contract negotiations
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through vendor consolidation, competitive sourcing, and purchasing strategy improvements
• Perform procurement analysis, reporting, benchmarking, and spend reviews to support business decisions
• Partner with internal teams and suppliers to improve procurement processes, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with purchasing policies
• Maintain supplier records, including vendor onboarding, database updates, reporting, and periodic data reviews
• Support procurement reporting and financial close activities, including monthly, quarterly, and annual processes
• Coordinate with Finance, Accounting, and administrative teams to resolve purchase order and payment-related issues
• Manage procurement-related requests, shared mailboxes, and vendor maintenance activities
