Job Description
Required Education:

• High school diploma or GED



Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

• Experience operating high-volume copy and document imaging equipment

• Excellent customer service skills

• Good PC skills, including MS Office and email systems

• Ability to perform quality checks on materials

• Ability to operate office machines and technical equipment

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently



Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

• Familiarity with document management systems

• Experience with mail handling and shipping/receiving processes



Print Shop Clerk Overview:

• Provides operational support across document services, mail handling, and office support functions

• Operates high-volume duplicating, printing, and imaging equipment while ensuring accuracy and quality

• Supports digital document processing, reporting, and file management using established systems and protocols

• Handles incoming and outgoing mail, shipping, receiving, and distribution of materials

• Maintains equipment functionality and coordinates service or repairs as needed

• Assists with facility-related services such as meeting room setup, light maintenance, and general upkeep

• Interacts with customers to manage service requests, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction

• May support additional functions, including reception, call handling, and administrative tasks based on site needs



Job Duties:

• Operate high-volume copy machines and perform binding and finishing work

• Operate document imaging systems and related software

• Use MS Office and email systems to open, send, and retrieve files

• Open, save, and transfer files according to established protocols

• Access document management systems using defined procedures

• Inspect and maintain copier functionality and quality on a daily basis

• Clear paper jams and report technical issues to service technicians

• Maintain records for reporting, billing logs, and supply inventory

• Distribute office supplies, mail, and fax transmissions to designated locations

• Calculate charges for completed jobs and maintain billing records

• Respond to and coordinate customer service calls and requests

• Perform filing, purging, and archiving of documents

• Deliver completed jobs to designated internal or external locations

• Maintain daily meter readings and service logs

• Answer customer inquiries regarding job status and feasibility

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of copier and service areas

• Perform shipping and receiving duties

• Set up meeting and conference rooms as needed

• Assist with office moves within assigned facilities

• Perform light maintenance tasks, including re-lamping

• Perform occasional cleaning duties as required

• Operate equipment such as shrink-wrap machines, paper cutters, hole drillers, bindery equipment, joggers, tape machines, stackers, electric staplers, and scales

• Use office equipment, including copiers, calculators, fax machines, postage meters, and PCs.
