Participation and occasional leading of the development and implementation of strategic and tactical approaches for the Companys overall Labor Relations Strategic Plan to include bargaining strategies Gathering intelligence throughout the external labor relations environment in California and Washington DC, in order to present and discuss opportunities and obstacles which may be present. Works to identify potential/actual problem areas in the Companys labor relations practices Recommends the resolution of various contractual issues with the unions. Manages various projects related to labor agreements. Directs research on collective bargaining agreements involving other companies. Partners with internal organizations as appropriate to develop and implement strategies and tactics to resolve issues between the Company and Unions Education Requirements: Juris Doctor degree preferred Experience Required: The candidate will possess five to seven years of experience in labor and employee relations and will have acted as chief negotiator in collective bargaining.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities/Workload
• The Advisor role will support Transmission & Substation Project Development (TSPD) in metrics, dashboards, scheduling, and other related analyst tasks. In the short-term since the organization is still in its infancy, this role would research outstanding sponsorship projects that have not been handed off to a TSPD Project Sponsor by reaching out to prior sponsors to determine if the project is still needed. If the project is needed, then they are to work with the associated TSPD Project Sponsor to transition the project; whereas if the project is not needed, then they are to confirm with the TSPD Project Sponsor that the project can be canceled. This research effort by this role working with prior sponsors and investigating projects helps the TSPD Project Sponsor focus on scoping and sponsorship. This Advisor role would also develop a schedule for transitioning all projects identified as viable between the prior sponsor and the TSPD Project Sponsor with the hope to cancel or re-assign projects by the end of 2025 (depending on the number of projects and the busyness of the TSPD Project Sponsors, this task could take longer). Additionally, this Advisor role will also help with facilitating the intake of projects related to the numerous sponsorship programs. Eventually this role from a project scheduling prospective would help the TSPD Project Sponsors track their projects through metrics (days aging in different status’) and completion of deliverables (such as the Project Development Report which is to be developed for every project the team sponsors, Risk Assessments and Mitigation documentation, and High-Level Cost and Schedule estimates within the appropriate system of record).
Other tasks may include (but are not limited to) the following:
• Conduct analysis of company performance metrics, including ?nancial, operational, and customer metrics – KPIs.
• Develop and maintain performance management dashboards and reports that provide visibility into the company''s performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure performance metrics are aligned with business goals and objectives.
• Monitor and measure performance against key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations to enhance business performance.
• Provide guidance and support to business units in setting performance goals, developing action plans, and monitoring progress towards objectives. Build and maintain relationships with external vendors and consultants to ensure best practices are incorporated into performance management processes.

In this job, you’ll be supporting the Transmission & Substation Project Development (TSPD) team that is responsible for developing integrated solutions, scope and sponsorship of projects addressing transmission, subtransmission and substation needs including reliability, load growth, interconnection, infrastructure repairs and replacement projects. This Advisor role will be a key resource to help the organization manage performance.
