Job Description
Only qualified Graphic Designer candidates located near the Getzville, NY area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence.



Qualifications

•Bachelor’s degree (Bachelor’s) or Diploma in Graphic Design with 2-5 years of relevant work experience in a corporate environment with demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through comparable work experience

•Must be able to provide a portfolio or samples of recent work



Key Responsibilities

•Produces a variety of marketing materials such as pitch books, deal books, covers, templates, infographics using MS Office and Adobe applications to an advanced level

•Assists with the production of creative PowerPoint pitch books and offers conceptual and visual solutions to enhance client materials including motion graphics

•Traces and produces logos maps and illustrations

•Ensures all materials produced are correctly branded as per client standards and advises clients on the use of the client brand

•Liaises directly with workflow staff and clients to determine deadlines job instructions and design requirements

•Completes related admin for accurate work billing and job tracking purposes

•Assists with Intake coordination when required

•Responsible for quality control of own work as well as assisting colleagues with quality control tasks

• Partners' new starters post-training

•Contributes to best production practices through internal initiatives and programs



Knowledge and Experience

•2-5 years or above of admin or operational support in a corporate service-oriented environment, ideally in a financial institution – essential

•Advanced knowledge of industry standard graphic design applications – essential



Skills

•Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel and Word

•Intermediate knowledge of Adobe CC Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat Professional

•MapInfo, Adobe Animate, Adobe Audition and Blender – an advantage

•Knowledge of external print processes – desirable
