Experience Desired: Production planning, scheduling, or PC Planner within a manufacturing environment (3-4 yrs); MRP/ERP systems to manage production schedules, inventory replenishment, and material planning (3-4 yrs); Analyze material shortages, prioritize production needs, and coordinate with manufacturing team (3-4 yrs); Supporting high-volume manufacturing operations with responsibility for production scheduling (3-4 yrs); Manufacturing shop floor experience (2-3 yrs); Lotus or equivalent type spreadsheets (1-3 yrs)
Required Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education: Associate’s Degree

Job Description

Required Education:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred Education:
• Associate degree or higher preferred.

Required Experience/Skills:
• Two to three years of shop experience.
• Three to four years of PC planner experience.
• Three to four years scheduling experience.
• Experience with Lotus or equivalent type spreadsheets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint).
• Proficiency with Internet software and E-mail.
• Ability to input and review MRP runs.
• Ability to review daily shortages and take appropriate action.
• Ability to prepare reports on critical items.
• Ability to adhere to the Company’s Code of Conduct and Business Ethics standards.

Job Duties:
• Establish production schedules based on a forecast of major equipment or groups of select items.
• Reflect schedules into the MRP module as input and approve inventory replenishment orders as output.
• Maintain major equipment records.
• Publish shop-related reports.
• Monitor activity of critical inventory items.
• Input and review MRP run.
• Review daily shortages and take action.
• Prepare reports on critical items.
• Adhere to the Company’s Code of Conduct and Business Ethics standards.

Physical Requirements:
• Regularly required to talk or hear.
• Frequently required to sit and use hands to touch, handle, or feel.
• Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Occasionally required to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Vision requirements include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
