Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Requirements
- Experience in production planning, scheduling, or inventory management.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and supply chain processes.
- Experience working in a regulated environment such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or biotechnology.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management tools.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Overview
The Associate Planner supports production planning, scheduling, and inventory management to ensure adherence to manufacturing schedules. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to meet material demand, maintain inventory accuracy, and support operational efficiency within the company's Infectious Disease business unit.
Responsibilities
- Analyze planning requirements and initiate actions to support production schedules and material demand.
- Plan, order, and manage inventory and materials.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Serve as a liaison between departments to minimize schedule disruptions.
- Act as a point of contact for production and material-related concerns.
- Support departmental initiatives and organizational goals.
- Execute production planning, scheduling, and material management processes.
- Maintain accurate records and utilize databases and software systems for reporting and analysis.
- Develop contingency plans through a comprehensive review of alternatives.
