Job Summary:

Experienced Client Last Time Buy (LTB) Planner responsible for the long-term forecasting and planning of components and service parts. Manage the LTB planning function within the demand planning organization to ensure service parts are available in the right quantities for Client customers. Collaborate with procurement, engineering, and materials planning teams to build consensus on the LTB proposal.

A successful candidate is results-driven, with strong analytical capabilities, business acumen, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with partner teams to resolve supply chain issues.



Duties:

• The essential duties of this position include:

• Generate an accurate long-term forecast for service parts and components

• Develop LTB strategy and recommendations that are aligned with Client service strategy

• Perform detailed demand and inventory analysis to explain the key drivers of the excess inventory, and drive corrective actions with cross-functional teams

• Identify opportunities to reduce LTB spend using cost-benefit analysis

• Lead LTB review meetings regularly with senior leadership

• Perform repair yield and component failure analysis by using historical data and trends

• Monitor actual consumption against the forecast, and escalate excess or shortage issues to leadership

• Conceptualize and implement systems solutions to automate, standardize, and improve overall planning process

• Operate within the complex business environment requiring an ability to deal with multiple internal and external business groups
