Job Description
Required Education:
• Verifiable High School diploma or GED

Required License/Certification:
• Active California Pharmacy Technician License

Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience
• Minimum 06 months of Pharmacy Technician or Materials Coordinator experience.
• Ability to stand for the duration of an 8–10 hour shift
• Ability to occasionally lift 30–50 LBS unassisted during a shift
• Ability to reach and grasp objects at various levels
• Ability to utilize a keyboard
• Ability to operate departmental machinery
• Ability to perform record-keeping functions

Pharmacy Materials Coordinator Overview:
• Works under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist
• Responsible for selecting, picking, and packaging medications and supplies for shipment to patients
• Supports accurate and timely preparation of patient orders
• Performs required record-keeping and documentation tasks
• Assists with inventory control processes as needed
• Ensures medications and supplies are prepared according to established procedures
• Adheres to applicable pharmacy regulations and internal processes

Job Duties:
• Select, pick, and package medications and supplies for shipment to patients
• Perform record-keeping functions
• Assist with inventory control processes as needed
• Stand for 8–10 hours per shift
• Reach and grasp objects at various levels
• Utilize a keyboard
• Operate departmental machinery.
