Job Description
Required Education:
• High School Diploma or GED.
• A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Required Knowledge/Skills and Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in payroll accounting
• Solid understanding of payroll and benefit accounting
• Strong conceptual and problem-solving skills to evaluate problems and apply knowledge to identify appropriate solutions; ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and assignments with deadlines
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to establish solid working relationships
• Solid follow-up and follow-through skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with intermediate to expert experience in Excel a must
The Payroll Accountant is responsible for proactive collaboration with vendor points of contact and key Finance business partners. This role is accountable to ensure consistent, timely, and high-quality business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
• Prepares and reconciles payroll-related accounting entries.
• Prepares and maintains inter-company billing for submission to accounting.
• Provide the necessary reports associated with payroll to finance
• Assist in the preparation and distribution of various payroll reports and analyses to customers and management
• Effectively identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to resolve.
• Coordinate any new benefit plans implementation or systems and collaborates with HRIS, payroll, and vendors to support Benefit Plan Designs.
• Maintain strong knowledge of management systems and process flows to support vendors and payroll interfaces. - **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.**
