Required Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent



Required Experience:

• Must have demonstrated knowledge of payroll accounting, data/account reconciliation experience, and strong knowledge of GL systems



Required Qualifications:

• Must be able to work independently to complete assigned tasks under tight deadlines

• Proven experience working within Shared Services or Payroll Operations, preferably in a business optimization or systems support capacity

• Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud HCM or similar ERP platforms

• Demonstrated experience in interpreting payroll processing results and costing in the General Ledger

• Experience performing data validations, reconciliations, and supporting audits

• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities

• Effective written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment



Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with large-scale ERP/HCM system conversions

• Background in system testing and UAT coordination

• Familiarity with payroll compliance and regulatory requirements

• Experience generating reports and analyzing data using a variety of reporting tools

• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality

• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills; Proactive with excellent follow-up skills

• Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure



Required Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to analyze large data sets and create reports



Job overview:

• The Payroll Department is seeking a talented and detail-oriented contractor to support our Payroll Operations team in testing for Oracle Fusion implementation

• In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the integrity of our payroll results through system validations, reconciliations, and testing enhancements within the Oracle Fusion Project

Responsibilities:

• This role supports Payroll Operations by validating, reconciling, and analyzing payroll, union, and costing data within Oracle Fusion, including parallel payroll testing, audits, and UAT/E2E activities

• It partners closely with Technology and Payroll teams to test and document defects, resolve discrepancies, and clearly communicate findings and recommendations and is required to ensure timely completion of project deliverables

• Support Payroll Operations by performing system validations and reconciliations in Oracle Fusion and related platforms and integrations

• Test, document, and support the testing and defect processes

• Assist in the preparation and execution of audits related to payroll data system transactions

• Analyze payroll Union data for accuracy, consistency, and completeness, identifying and helping to resolve discrepancies

• Analyze payroll Costing data for accuracy, consistency, and completeness, identifying and helping to resolve discrepancies with Oracle GL

• Perform analysis and detail validations for Parallel Payroll Testing

• Collaborate closely with Tech and Payroll to ensure review of all noted differences with documented resolutions

• Communicate findings, issues, and recommendations to relevant stakeholders in a clear and concise manner

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and reconciliation activities

• Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) for new system features, enhancements, or integrations
