Job Description

Required Skills, Experience, and Knowledge:
• Experience supporting attorneys in a litigation setting
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Proficiency with legal document preparation and court filing procedures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities

Job Responsibilities:
Front Office and Administrative Support
• Answer incoming calls and greet visitors professionally
• Open and close case files and maintain accurate records
• Scan, distribute, and upload mail and court filings to the firm’s database
• Maintain case tracking systems, calendars, and reporting tools
Litigation Support
• Prepare, draft, and file court documents including discovery demands and responses, subpoenas, affidavits, affirmations, and motion papers
• Manage e-filings and ensure compliance with court deadlines
• Schedule depositions and coordinate witness appearances
• Perform docketing and maintain attorney court calendars
• Conduct routine investigative research and compile findings for attorney review
• Gather and organize case-related materials from various sources
• Prepare reports and correspondence as directed
Pre-Trial and Trial Preparation
• Organize and assemble exhibits and briefs
• Review case materials to assist with preparation of questioning strategies
• Assist attorneys at trials and hearings by managing exhibits and supporting courtroom logistics
• Coordinate service of process directly or through outside vendors
