Job Description
Only qualified “Packaging Operator” candidates located near the Mebane, North Carolina area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence
Education
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
Required Qualifications
• Minimum one year of manufacturing or production experience required
• Ability to work on semi-routine assignments and recognize deviations from specifications
• Strong teamwork, communication, and attention to detail skills
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions, diagrams, and charts in English
• Basic arithmetic and analytical skills
• Basic computer skills, including Windows PC environment experience
• Ability to work overtime and maintain regular punctual attendance
Physical Demands
• Ability to stand for long periods of time during shifts
• Ability to perform repetitive motions throughout the workday
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds safely
Position Summary
Perform routine packaging operations by following standard operating procedures and work instructions while supporting production packaging labeling inspection and material staging activities in a manufacturing environment
Responsibilities
• Perform routine packaging tasks following SOPs work instructions and quality and safety guidelines
• Prepare stage and replenish packaging materials for production operations
• Maintain cleanliness of packaging work areas and equipment following GMP standards
• Conduct visual inspections of packaged products to ensure quality compliance and escalate issues when identified
• Collect samples for quality verification according to documented procedures
• Complete packaging related documentation and production logs accurately
• Palletize packaged materials following safety and operational standards
• Adhere to all safety housekeeping and quality policies
• Perform additional duties as assigned
Work Environment
• Fast paced manufacturing and packaging environment
• Work performed under GMP quality and safety standards
• Schedule Monday through Friday 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM with overtime as needed - **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.**
