EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum Associates, but B.S. preferred with 1-3 years' experience
REQUIRED SKILLS
• Familiarity with packaging specifications, materials, and related technical documentation required.
• Proven experience in data entry or master data management, in a packaging, manufacturing, or supply chain environment.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• This position operates with considerable autonomy and solid business acumen and relationship management skills are required.
• Interaction with international colleagues and third party suppliers is frequent and the position requires strong cultural awareness and diversity.
PREFERENCE
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4 (or SAP ECC) is strongly preferred
POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Packaging Data Entry Specialist to support our packaging specifications migration and setup in SAP S/4. This temporary contract role is critical to ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of technical packaging data in our enterprise system, enabling smooth operations for procurement, manufacturing, and quality teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Enter, verify, and maintain packaging specification data into SAP S/4 according to established templates, guidelines, and naming conventions.
• Interpret and transfer information from existing documentation, drawings, or databases into structured SAP S/4 fields.
• Review and validate data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal standards.
• Liaise with packaging engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to clarify missing or unclear data.
• Track and document progress of data entry activities, reporting any discrepancies or issues to the project lead.
• Support data clean-up, de-duplication, and alignment efforts to ensure system integrity.
• Assist in testing and verifying packaging master data in the system after entry.
