Required Education
* High School Diploma or Equivalent required for employees hired after June 1, 2000, with internal transfers exempted
Required Experience
* One to two years of stable work history with previous employers

* Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
* Experience operating production equipment
* Experience using basic hand tools required
Preferred Experience
* Industrial Maintenance or Basic Mechatronics Technology preferred

Responsibilities
* Operate optimize and perform changeovers on assigned production equipment
* Operate production equipment while meeting quality productivity waste and safety goals
* Operate packaging equipment and ensure products are properly packed and labeled
* Participate as a team associate in activities supporting daily department operations
* Operate equipment at acceptable quality and production levels
* Perform quality checks as required by specifications
* Maintain accurate production downtime and quality check records
* Notify technical personnel of equipment malfunctions
* Utilize assigned batch numbers in SAP
* Stamp batch numbers on shelf cartons and case cartons with correct product and batch information
* Perform general housekeeping duties throughout the shift
* Follow all safety and environmental procedures
* Follow all Quality Systems Requirements (QSR)
* Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs
Physical Demands
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
* Ability to stand and perform production activities during 12 hour shifts
* Ability to perform repetitive manufacturing and packaging activities
Work Environment
* Climate controlled manufacturing environment
* Onsite work environment
* Ability to work a 12 hour shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
* Three days on two days off two days on and three days off schedule
* Schedule may change based on business needs
Additional Requirements
* Eye examination required
* Steel toe or composite safety shoes required
* Background screening required
* Candidates may begin work while remaining background checks are pending once required criminal background checks have cleared
