Job Description
***Only qualified Assembler candidates located near the Sumter South Carolina area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***



Required Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent



Required Skills and Experience

• Zero to one year of manufacturing assembly experience

• Ability to perform visual inspections and functional testing of parts

• Experience working with packaging relabeling repacking and manual production work

• Strong attention to detail

• Effective communication skills

• Ability to read write interpret and comprehend specifications written in English

• Ability to perform basic math calculations

• Ability to use basic measurement tools such as microscopes

• Ability to work flexible or extended hours as needed

• Ability to work in a team environment

• Willingness to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities



Additional Requirements

• Eye exam required

• Background check required

• Candidate may start while background check is pending

• Drug screening not required



Physical Demands

• Ability to stand walk and sit for extended periods of time

• Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds



Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections of parts packages and label content

• Conduct functional testing of parts to determine acceptability

• Relabel packages and repack materials into shelf cartons or case cartons

• Assist in fabrication manufacture assembly testing and packaging of medical devices

• Set up operate maintain and troubleshoot equipment

• Conduct quality inspections in accordance with quality specifications

• Follow standard operating procedures and quality guidelines

• Maintain regular punctual attendance

• Support production and operational needs as required
