Job Description
Required Education:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
Required Skills and Experience:
• Manufacturing work experience preferred
• Developing skills in basic production tasks, techniques, and procedures within assigned work areas
• Applies foundational knowledge to complete routine tasks by following established processes and instructions
• Demonstrates effective communication skills with co-workers and supervisors
• Ability to read, write, and understand specifications and instructions in English, while performing basic math calculations accurately
• Dependable with the flexibility to work extended or varied hours as needed and maintain regular attendance
• Works well in a team-oriented environment and adapts to rotating tasks and responsibilities
• Steel-toe shoes required
Responsibilities:
• Reprocessing product; parts handling, inspections (mostly visual, some gauging), filling out paperwork
• Perform routine production functions including filling, utility operations, packaging, assembling, labeling and inspecting under general supervision.
• Maintain accurate records and logs in accordance with FDA (Food and Drug Administration), GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), and ISO9000 (International Organization for Standardization)
• Effectively work in a team setting, supporting team goals and objectives
• Make effective decisions relative to position requirements
• Follow instructions and work within routine, standard practices, making decisions as required
• Work under direct supervision, following standard operating procedures
