Job Description
***Only qualified Packaging Operator candidates located near the Mebane, North Carolina area will be considered due to the position requiring an on-site presence***



Required Education

* High school diploma or Equivalent



Required Qualifications

* Zero to one year of packaging experience

* Minimum of six months of industry work experience

* Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations

* Familiarity with computers and various software used for general business functionality



Preferred Experience

* Six months of packaging operations and product inspection experience

* Six months of manufacturing documentation and inventory recordkeeping experience

* Six months of packaging quality and procedure compliance experience

* Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule including static or rotating shifts and overtime as required

Responsibilities

* Perform manual inspection labeling and packaging of clinical and commercial products

* Perform finished product packaging to satisfy customer internal clinical and other demand

* Ensure finished products are packaged according to procedures and quality specifications

* Inspect in process packaging and components to ensure consistent quality

* Remove defective products and packaging materials

* Maintain timely and accurate documentation of manufacturing activities related to product packaging

* Maintain device history records and inventory counts

* Perform simple mathematical calculations required to complete batch records

* Assist with inventory counting activities

* Participate in safety audits as required

* Participate in daily safety discussions and observations

* Perform routine cleaning of packaging stations and processing equipment

* Follow personal protective equipment and product contamination control requirements

* Follow gowning requirements

* Handle hazardous waste as appropriate
