Role Overview

The Assembler 1 role involves handling materials, inspecting products, maintaining quality standards, and supporting production processes in a warehouse/manufacturing environment. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to SOPs, and the ability to work in a metrics-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Use inspection tools, light equipment, and handcarts to move materials, parts, assemblies, and scrap

• Sort and inspect materials for quality and accuracy

• Read rulers and perform basic measurements

• Maintain quality records and documentation with good writing practices

• Follow SOPs and scientific methods while adhering to quality guidelines

• Complete routine tasks using prescribed processes and procedures

• Work under general to limited supervision

• Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Demands

• Frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching

• Regular lifting, pushing, pulling, and grasping

• Frequent use of hands (including repetitive wrist/finger movements)

• Ability to lift and/or move over 50 lbs

• Activities include talking, hearing, twisting, and handling materials
