Job Description
Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent



Required Experience / Skills:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in banking operations, debit card operations, electronic banking, accounting operations, or related financial services

• Strong experience with account reconciliations, balancing, settlement activities, and exception resolution

• Experience researching and resolving transaction discrepancies, posting errors, settlement variances, and out-of-balance conditions

• Debit card operations experience strongly preferred, including settlement, chargebacks, processor activity, or payment networks

• Strong understanding of debit card transaction flows, settlement processes, and general ledger activity

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and lookups

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills with excellent attention to detail



Job Duties:

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of debit card settlement, chargeback, network, suspense, and general ledger accounts

• Research and resolve reconciling items, settlement discrepancies, posting errors, and transaction exceptions

• Balance card network and processor activity against internal systems and financial records

• Monitor aging items and exception queues to ensure timely resolution

• Maintain reconciliation documentation for audits, regulatory reviews, and internal controls

• Escalate unresolved variances, operational losses, and unusual activity to management

• Partner with Accounting, Deposit Operations, Fraud, and card processors to resolve settlement and balancing issues

• Process card maintenance, reissues, replacements, and account updates

• Monitor operational reports and support card issuance, network maintenance, and debit card servicing

• Support dispute- and fraud-related transaction settlement and accounting activities
