About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical professional to join the Ad Sales Research team at Skydance on a maternity leave cover basis. You will support ad revenue growth by answering pre-sale research requests about the Skydance audience and building the narratives and materials Sales uses to pitch advertisers. You will be the day-to-day research partner to Sales across linear, streaming, sports and tentpole content.
Key Responsibilities
• Sales partnership: Serve as the main point of contact for sellers. Take in their research requests, clarify what they need and who the client is targeting, and deliver accurate, useful answers on short deadlines.
• Custom pre-sale analysis: Deliver tailored audience analysis for RFPs, RFIs and prospecting, including event performance against an advertiser’s target, demo comps and indices, audience-to-content matching, and competitive benchmarking.
• Clear, sourced delivery: Lead with the key takeaway, cite sources (Nielsen, Comscore, MRI-Simmons and others), and flag proxies and data limitations.
• Request management: Prioritize and track requests in Salesforce, direct Sales to self-serve tools where they fit, and escalate custom studies.
• Proactive materials: Build custom audience and content narratives, contribute to upfront and sponsorship decks, and develop IP and product assets such as wrap decks, snapshots, sports kits and case studies.
• Vendors and collaboration: Act as the product liaison with data vendors and run tool training.
• Sales presence: Present at sales team calls and Hold Co meetings.
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years in media research, audience measurement, or ad sales research
• Experience at a media company, network or agency supporting ad sales
• Hands-on experience with linear and streaming measurement (Nielsen, MRI-Simmons, VideoAmp, Comscore)
• Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills in working with sellers
• Experience handling high-volume, fast-turnaround requests
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including client-ready presentations
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and ramp up quickly

• Experience with campaign reporting and effectiveness
• Knowledge of social media, programmatic and retail media networks
• Familiarity with iSpot, set-top-box or ACR data, and attention or outcomes measurement - **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.**
