· Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment

· Comfort working with spreadsheets, trackers, and basic reporting tools

· Ability to communicate clearly with both internal teams and external partners

· Experience with inventory, logistics, or operations support preferred

· Problem-solving mindset with ability to escalate issues appropriately



Job Description:

This role provides operational support for Food for Good’s summer program, with a primary focus on third-party copacker coordination, inventory visibility, transportation tracking, and carrier claims management.

The position supports day-to-day execution to ensure consistent product flow, issue resolution, and on-time delivery during peak summer volume.



Key Responsibilities

Copacker Inventory Management

· Serve as the primary point of contact for third-party copacker inventory tracking during the summer program

· Maintain accurate visibility to inventory balances, production receipts, and available stock

· Reconcile the copacker inventory against internal trackers and escalate discrepancies as needed

· Partner with internal stakeholders and the copacker to resolve inventory shortages, overages, or timing issues



Inbound and Outbound Tracking

· Track inbound raw materials and outbound finished goods from copacker locations

· Monitor shipment status and proactively identify delays or delivery risks

· Communicate status updates and escalate issues to the appropriate internal teams for resolution

· Manage system entry of shipment tracking information, including coordination with the internal broker and order closeout

· Support basic logistics coordination and documentation as required



UPS Claims Management

· Manage the end-to-end UPS claims process for lost, damaged, or misbilled shipments

· Gather required documentation, submit claims, and track claims through resolution

· Partner with UPS and internal teams to investigate discrepancies and secure credits when applicable

· Maintain clear records and reporting of claims activity and outcomes



Ad Hoc Operational Support

· Support additional summer program operational tasks as needed (data pulls, trackers, reporting, process documentation)

· Assist with issue triage and follow-ups across inventory, transportation, or fulfillment

· Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues and improvement opportunities



Working Style

· Highly organized and responsive

· Comfortable operating with ambiguity during peak seasonal demand

· Able to work independently while collaborating across teams
