• 5+ years of experience as a Trouble Man and/or Lineman.
• Proven ability to coordinate, schedule, and work effectively with multiple teams.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work well in a collaborative, fast-paced operational environment.
Preferred Requirements:
• Experience with Oracle NMS.
Job Duties:
• Write and prepare detailed switching procedures and switch plans.
• Coordinate closely with the control center to ensure plans are accurate and executable.
• Review upcoming switching needs for the next half-day to several days.
• Distribute switch plans for review and collaborate with stakeholders to obtain approval.
• Once approved, ensure switch plans are properly scheduled.
• Hand off finalized plans to the control center and provide follow-up support.
• Respond to questions or clarification requests from the control center as needed.
• Collaborate with a small, cross-functional internal team to support daily operations.
Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Distribution Operations Coordinator to support internal distribution operations through switch planning, scheduling, and coordination with the control center. This role plays a critical part in ensuring safe, accurate, and timely execution of switching activities across the electrical distribution system.
Training & Ramp-Up
• Initial onboarding provided.
• Expect approximately 6 months to 1 year to become fully trained and proficient in client’s processes, procedures, and policies.
Team & Work Environment
• Support a collaborative internal team of approximately six members.
• Work in a supportive, team-oriented environment with a mix of independent and collaborative tasks.
• Partner closely with internal stakeholders and the control center. - **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.**
