Required Skills & Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License – Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

• Field Experience – Previous field experience is REQUIRED (explicitly stated in the posting).

• Ability to navigate and utilize various customer information and operational systems for data input, updates, and changes.

• Ability to perform data entry, system updating, and create permit requests.

• May include technical assignments involving basic programming.



Knowledge & Soft Skills

• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within operations, emergency response, or technical services.

• Ability to work under minimal supervision, relying on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish tasks.

The Operations Specialist is responsible for performing a variety of tasks within the operations organizational functions of emergency response, pre-construction surveying, project management, and program monitoring. This role operates within an office, field, or dispatch setting.

• Data entry and system updating.

• Time keeping and administrative tasks.

• Initiation and receipt of calls from customers and field employees.

• Scheduling of field tasks.

• Creation of permit requests.

• Data collection from field activities.

• Updating company systems.

• Interface with company and contracted field employees.

• Other administrative tasks.

• Data collection from field activities.

• Updating company systems.

• Interface with company and contracted field employees.

• Handling tasks of an emergency nature (dispatch setting includes shift work, weekends, and holidays).

• Works across the company functionally to meet internal and external customer needs across emergency response, pre-construction surveying, project management, and program monitoring.

• Performs a variety of tasks and completes multiple assignments/projects simultaneously.
