Job Description
***Resource will be traveling between client sites.***



• Required Education:

• High School Diploma

• Description:

• Support a robust Microsoft based network running Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office 365, MS Teams, etc. Basic Desktop and Networking support knowledge on BSOD, IPConfig Command, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS and Group policy. PC Desktop, Laptop and Tablet expertise needed to perform the duties of this position. Mac experience is a plus.

• Under the guidance of IT representatives, duties may include some or all of the following: receiving computing assets, moving equipment within and/or between facilities, staging equipment for build/image activity, interviewing clients as part of pre-deployment asset discovery, execute against the deployment plan, executing equipment replacement activity, updating asset management system to reflect work performed, reporting daily activity, installing and maintaining PC hardware and software, troubleshooting network usage and computer peripherals, perform data transfer and recovery, resolve basic network communication problems independently, e-mail administration, preparing assets for disposition, other administrative duties.

• Skills Required:

• Entry level experience with PC support, including installation and deployment.

• Entry level experience with PC hardware troubleshooting and repair.

• The resource selected for this role will be a part of a team that replaces or upgrades PCs and laptops at the various Client sites. Must have experience working in a client facing role. Must have previous PC support experience.

• Well-versed in installing windows, software, applications.

• Minimum entry level experience with direct client interaction.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Adaptable to change in process or required activities.

• Attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics.

• Quick learner. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining quality results. Professional appearance and behavior, including punctuality.

• Manage incoming and outgoing assets. Prepare computers for deployment. Scan existing asset for applications and settings. Interview clients to identify special considerations and other settings.

• Use Client tools to execute PC activity. Collaborate with teammates to identify process improvements. Assist other technicians as needed. Basic understanding of profile management and data transfer.

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access). Able to work independently and escalate as appropriate. Committed to learn and relate technical concepts promptly.
