Job Description
***2 days a Week Onsite***
Description:
The Regulatory Initiative delivers Client response to new and changing global regulations that impact the business and our sellers. The BU team defines the end-to-end customer solution, coordinates with Product, Legal, GCX, Marketing, Analytics, Finance, and regional teams, and ensures execution across the organization.
The Business Operations Manager will support the Head of Planning & Operations in running portfolio operations, keeping cross-functional partners aligned, and ensuring senior leaders have clear visibility into progress and risks.
Your Role
Core Responsibilities
1. Initiative Delivery & Program Coordination
Support day-to-day operations across the Regulatory Initiative, maintaining program plans, RAID logs, and trackers.
Coordinate BU weekly meetings (agenda, status updates, action tracking).
Assist with BU Monthly Meeting preparation and follow-ups.
Prepare materials for senior-leadership forums (MBR, regional updates, initiative reviews, ad hoc briefings).
Surface and escalate risks, dependencies, and issues; ensure timely follow-up from program leads.
2. Cross-Functional Partnership & Communication
Act as a central coordination partner across Product, Legal, Tax, GCX, Marketing, Finance, Analytics, and regional markets.
Maintain alignment across teams and drive follow-ups to remove blockers.
Draft and distribute routine communications, including:
Weekly one-pager update
Fortnightly regulatory initiative report
3. Strategic Planning Support
Support the Head of Planning & Operations with annual and half-yearly planning cycles, coordinating planning submissions and inputs from BU program leads.
Consolidate data, dependencies, and forecasts to support initiative-level prioritization.
4. Financial, Analytics & Operational Reporting
Partner with Finance, Analytics, and program leads to compile initiative-level reporting (budgets, impact assessments, forecasts).
Assist in preparing MBR/QBR materials and investment proposals.
Support development of business cases by gathering inputs and structuring draft content.
5. Special Projects & Executive Support
Support ad-hoc workstreams and priority requests from the Head of Planning & Operations.
Draft exec summaries, leadership briefings, and board-level content.
Assist with competitive insights, regulatory benchmarking, and cross-market research.
What Success Looks Like
Programs run smoothly with clear documentation, consistent reporting, and proactive follow-up.
Leadership receives crisp, timely visibility into progress, risk areas, and decisions required.
Stakeholders see you as organized, dependable, and collaborative.
Processes improve over time due to better structure, repeatable templates, and thoughtful organization.
The Head of Planning & Operations can operate more strategically because you own the operational backbone.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is:
Highly organized, structured, and great at keeping multiple workstreams moving simultaneously.
Operationally strong - someone who has managed end-to-end operations, coordinated multiple stakeholders, and handled reporting cycles.
A rapid learner who can quickly pick up new regulatory topics, tools, and processes.
Someone who can comfortably keep a high-level view of the program, while also diving into details when needed.
Experienced working in environments where work is ambiguous, cross-functional, and fast-moving.
A confident communicator who can tailor updates to different audiences (from working teams to VP level).
Not hyper-specialized in a single niche or product area - more of a generalist operator with breadth, adaptability, and strong judgement.
Preferred Background
Regulatory, e-commerce, fintech, payments, banking, or compliance operations
Business operations, program coordination, PMO, or strategy & operations roles
Consulting (junior-mid level), especially those with experience in operational delivery
Large tech / marketplace / scaled international business experience is a strong plus
Years of Experience
Typically 7-10 years total experience
Mid-level / IC4 equivalent - strong operational doer, not senior strategy lead
Should have experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and managing reporting cycles; does not need to have run large programs independently.
Skills & Competencies
Project/program coordination
Operational discipline and tracking
Executive-ready communication
Cross-functional stakeholder management
Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities
Strong written communication & slide-writing
Analytical comfort (e.g., interpreting dashboards, forecasting inputs)
High ownership, follow-through, and bias for action - **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.**
- **Please note that all Position start dates and duration are estimates and may be reduced or lengthened based upon a client’s business needs and requirements.**
