Job Description
***Only qualified Senior Merchant - candidates located near Reynoldsburg, Ohio to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite (hybrid) presence. ***



Our client is the world's largest intimates' specialty retailer offering a wide assortment of modern, fashion-inspired collections including signature bras, panties, lingerie, casual sleepwear, swim and athleisure, as well as award-winning prestige fragrances and body care.



Preferred Education:

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.



Required Experience, Skills, & Abilities:

• 5–7 years of merchandising experience.

• Confident decision making.

• Ability to lead team.

• Previous senior merchant/merchant or Buyer experience.

• Team player.

• Collaborative.

• Self-starter.

• Ability to work independently.

• Ability to handle issues of complexity.



Role:

Management-level position responsible for merchandising and buying of product lines.



Responsibilities:

• Develops assortment plans, including price points and space allocation for products.

• Responsible for merchandising and buying of product line.

• Develops an assortment plan, including price point and space allocation for a product.

• Ensures the product development follows the line plan and production calendar.

• Collaborates with manufacturing on vendors, calendar and costing strategies.

• May participate in plans for ad campaigns and merchandise presentations.

• Participates in the patterning process.

• Tracks competitive intelligence process and performs assessments of fashion trends.

• May partner with other functions to manage inventory.

• Tracks and reviews sales to provide analysis for increased sales opportunities, improve margins, manage inventories and decrease markdowns.
