Required Education:

• High School Diploma or GED



Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of medical claims processing experience

• Knowledge of CPT codes

• Experience working with Medicare claims

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to review and interpret claims documentation

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong communication and organizational skills

Job Summary:

• Receives and adjudicates medical claims and bills for payment or denial

• Researches claims and bills to ensure appropriate supporting documents and documentation are included

• Analyzes and adjusts claim data and benefits criteria to determine accurate payment

• Responds to vendor and member inquiries, problems, and complaints regarding claims



Job Responsibilities:

• Review and process medical claims in accordance with policies and procedures

• Analyze claim information and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness

• Apply benefits criteria to determine claim payment or denial

• Research and resolve issues related to claims processing

• Respond to inquiries from vendors and members regarding claim status and decisions

• Maintain accuracy and compliance with internal guidelines and turnaround times
