Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience

• Ability to follow detailed procedures, work instructions, and established guidelines.

• Ability to handle and maintain the flow of materials and products in a manufacturing environment.

• Ability to accurately record or provide information regarding incoming and outgoing materials and supplies.

• Basic ability to use material handling equipment.

• Ability to perform routine, manual tasks safely and accurately.

• Ability to make simple decisions within established procedures and guidelines.

• Basic technical knowledge related to assigned manufacturing/material-handling tasks.

• Ability to work under direct supervision.



Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, production, distribution, or material-handling environment.

• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, or other motorized/non-motorized material handling equipment.

• Familiarity with inventory, material movement, or production processes.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.



Production/Material Handler Overview

Under direct supervision, this position supports manufacturing operations by handling and maintaining the flow of materials and products within production areas. The role follows established procedures and detailed instructions, records material movement, and may operate various material-handling equipment. This is an entry-level position requiring basic technical knowledge, with training provided.



Job Duties

• Handle and maintain the flow of materials and products throughout designated manufacturing areas.

• Follow established procedures, work instructions, and safety guidelines.

• Assist with the movement of incoming and outgoing materials and supplies.

• Provide accurate information for recording material and product movement.

• Operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment as authorized.

• Perform routine manual tasks associated with manufacturing and material handling.

• Select appropriate solutions from established procedures when handling straightforward situations.

• Maintain accurate and timely movement of materials within assigned areas.

• Work under direct supervision and escalate issues outside established guidelines.

• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
