Job Description
***Only qualified Material Handler candidates located near Columbus, NE to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***



Required Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent



Required Experience

• 1 year of relevant warehouse distribution or logistics experience required

• Experience working in a fast-paced distribution environment

• Experience operating in a metrics-driven environment

• Experience with Walkie Ryder motorized pallet jack

• Experience with material handling equipment

• Experience using Voice or RF scanners preferred

• Ability to read and interpret distribution documents

• Ability to work with minimal supervision

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities



Tech Skills

• RF scanner operation

• Barcode scanning and order processing

• Voice picking systems

• Material handling equipment operation

• Pallet building and palletizing

• Shipment verification and packaging

• Inventory and distribution documentation

• General computer and RF device usage

Physical Demands

Responsibilities

• Scan barcodes, pick label and process customer orders

• Pick pack and prepare orders for shipment

• Process orders using RF technology

• Maintain work areas according to SOP and work instructions

• Follow Good Documentation Practices requirements

• Complete RF device training requirements

• Verify order accuracy and package shipments

• Build pallets and prepare completed orders for shipment

• Re palletize products as needed

• Perform dock manifest duties when assigned

• Operate shrink wrapping equipment when required

• Transport pallets using approved material handling equipment

• Follow all safety procedures and operating practices

• Maintain attendance and training requirements

• Report injuries hazards unsafe conditions and suspicious activity

• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping standards

• Cross train in other warehouse functions and provide backup support as needed

• Support quality safety and security initiatives

• Perform additional duties as assigned
