Job Description
Only qualified Material Handler 3 candidates located near the Sparks MD area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence
Required Education
• High school diploma or Equivalent
Required Experience
• Warehouse distribution or material handling experience required
• Experience with picking, pulling, and production orders required
• Experience working with Bills of Materials required
• Experience with RF scanners and warehouse systems required
• Experience operating material handling equipment preferred, including Order Pickers, Reach Trucks, Counter Balance and Dock Stockers
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Experience working in fast-paced, metrics-driven warehouse environments
Tech Skills
• Experience using ERP WMS SAP or RF systems
• Ability to scan, process, and track inventory accurately
• Ability to read and interpret warehouse and shipping documents
• Basic analytical, organizational and prioritization skills
• Experience processing inbound, outbound, and inventory movement transactions
Soft Skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Good verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to work well in team environments
• Safety-focused mindset
• Ability to maintain accuracy in high-volume warehouse operations
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in medical device distribution or regulated warehouse environments preferred
• Experience with palletizing dock manifest and shipment packaging preferred
• Experience training or cross-training in warehouse operations preferred
• SAP experience preferred
• Voice RF scanner experience preferred
• Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices preferred
Responsibilities
• Pick, pack, process, and label customer orders
• Process orders using RF scanning technology
• Build and re-palletize shipments for outbound delivery
• Load, unload, and transport materials safely within warehouse operations
• Support inbound, outbound and inventory movement activities
• Maintain accurate inventory and shipment documentation
• Follow warehouse SOPs, safety procedures, and Good Documentation Practices
• Operate material handling equipment safely and report maintenance issues
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
• Support warehouse cross-training and backup functions as needed
Physical Demands
• Frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting
• Repetitive hand, wrist, and finger movements required
• Occasional climbing required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs in some warehouse areas
• Frequent work around moving mechanical equipment
• Ability to work safely in active warehouse environments
