Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent experience
Required Experience:
- Previous material handling experience
- Some previous shipping and receiving, inventory, or warehouse experience, including pallet jack usage and shipping procedures
- Good computer skills with ERP or similar systems
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Experience:
- Manufacturing or medical device environment
- Cycle counting and inventory acceptance sampling experience
Job Summary:
Support manufacturing operations at the Pomona site by receiving, moving, stocking, and tracking materials and manufacturing inventory. The role maintains accurate inventory records, keeps inventory clearly labeled, and supports cycle counts. This is a non-exempt role; hours over 40 are paid at time and a half. The manager will phone screen, and the selected candidate will start as soon as screenings clear.
Job Duties:
- Load, unload, and move materials (crates, boxes, and raw materials) within or near the plant, yard, or work site
- Read and follow work orders and oral instructions
- Use hand tools to open containers
- Transport materials using a hand truck, pallet jack, electric dolly, wheelbarrow, or other devices
- Maintain manufacturing inventory and keep accurate inventory records
- Perform restocking and inventory acceptance sampling
- Perform cycle counts and ensure inventory is clearly labeled
- Verify and maintain material inventory and sample request forms
- Work on multiple tasks as a team member or as an individual contributor - **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.**
