Job Summary:
• The Strategic Research team helps shape how we use data and consumer learning to inform strategies and investments across Marketing & Communications functions at Client, especially for Client platform brand and GBSG (our Global Business Solutions Group including QuickBooks and Mailchimp). We are looking to expand our resources in creative and marketing research.
• The individual in this role will support creative research across our brands, with a primary focus on AI-enabled pre-testing of a large volume of advertising creative — spanning top-of-funnel (awareness), middle-of-funnel (consideration), and bottom-of-funnel (conversion) campaigns — for QuickBooks, Mailchimp, and Client. This role will actively partner with global brand marketers, product managers, media managers, creative teams, analysts, and other researchers across a variety of initiatives, including the creative pre-testing work, but could also include Global Brand Health requests, In-Market Campaign measurement, and other ad hoc research projects that are needed
• To succeed in this role, you will have a mix of expertise in creative/ad testing research, global brand health tracking, research data analysis, quantitative and qualitative research, and experience working in cross-functional teams. Strong executive presence is essential, as this role could regularly present creative research findings and recommendations directly to senior leaders and teams
• Additionally, you can operate independently (without too much oversight) with extreme ownership, with velocity (our organization is moving fast), and in a collaborative manner
• By extreme ownership, we mean:
• Deeply immersing yourself in the business strategy and customer problem.
• Aligning with the team on what the outcomes we're trying to achieve and then holding yourself and others accountable to those outcomes
• Asking difficult questions and having difficult conversations quickly to surface issues
• Identifying swirl and churn and committing to or driving quick escalations
• Proactively raising your hand to say “I got this” and following through to ensure that it gets done
• Taking responsibility when things don't go well - and working together to diagnose the root cause and improve – without assigning blame
• Ensuring there's a plan to get to the outcome and following up to confirm it's happening
Responsibilities
• Leading AI-enabled pre-testing of a large volume of top-of-funnel, middle-of-funnel, and bottom-of-funnel advertising creative across QuickBooks, Mailchimp, and Client campaigns — synthesizing results into clear strengths and opportunities, and presenting findings to leaders and cross-functional teams to inform business and media decisions
• Assisting with deep dives into global brand health data across countries to help answer questions coming out of regular brand health reporting or through ad hoc requests
• Driving or assisting with in-market campaign measurement.
• This also requires working with an external measurement vendor who we partner with, in addition to the media team, the brand team, and the media agency
• Driving or assisting with ad hoc QuickBooks, Mailchimp, and Client research projects that arise - may be qualitative or quantitative in nature. - **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.**
- **Please note that all Position start dates and duration are estimates and may be reduced or lengthened based upon a client’s business needs and requirements.**
