Minimum Basic Requirements:
- 5+ years of performance marketing or paid social experience
- Demonstrated experience scaling and optimizing large paid social campaigns across multiple platforms, inclusive of both brand and acquisition tactics
- Demonstrated tactical excellence in at least one major paid social platform (Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, or similar)
- Knowledgeable in ecosystem privacy policies (SKAN, ATT prompts) and mobile measurement/attribution fundamentals
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with CAPI (Conversions API) and probabilistic attribution (e.g., Kochava)
- Proficiency with SQL/BigQuery/Looker, as well as AI tools (Claude)
- Track record of adopting new measurement solutions (including MMM) and creating succinct, data-driven reporting and analysis for senior stakeholders
- Experience owning full-funnel media strategy — forecasting, budgeting, planning, resource allocation, execution, optimization and reporting
- Strong mentorship and coaching skills
- Previous experience presenting strategy and results to senior stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to stand up new programs or testing frameworks and improve processes for performance and efficiency
Job Summary:
The paid growth marketing team at Client Credit Karma supports company growth by owning the strategy and execution of our marketing campaigns across a wide range of verticals and acquisition efforts. As a Staff Performance Marketing Manager – Paid Social, you will drive strategy and measurement maturity for Credit Karma's paid social program across Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Reddit and Pinterest, with a specific focus on Brand and Upper Funnel initiatives. You'll partner closely with our channel owners, Brand, Integrated Marketing, Social Strategy, Analytics, and our agency partners to push the program forward — particularly around next-generation measurement (CAPI, probabilistic attribution, brand halo) and testing rigor. This role requires a critical thinker with a strong testing-and-learning mindset who can navigate the differences across platforms and translate them into best-in-class channel strategy.
What You'll Do:
Own top-of-funnel paid social, partnering with Brand and our agency partners to align paid social activity with brand moments, sponsorships, and activations
- Identify new and existing ways to reach Gen Z and drive engagement with ads and influencer content, moving perception and consideration of CK with this younger audience
- Drive the rollout of more rigorous measurement across paid social channels to understand impact down funnel, unlocking cleaner conversion tracking and enabling more efficient install campaigns, with focus on unblocking attribution and improving signal quality
- Champion the shift from revenue/MMM-based KPIs to brand/acquisition/conversion KPIs as the primary measure of program health, tailoring the right metric to each channel's measurement maturity
- Partner with channel owners (Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Reddit, Pinterest, etc.) and agency partners on testing roadmap execution — including incrementality and brand lift tests and audience validation tests
- Coordinate across creative agency partners to ensure the team is running current, approved assets and avoiding creative gaps or fatigue
- Partner with budget owners to pitch, secure, and manage pacing for assigned initiatives, ensuring efficient allocation against business priorities
- Serve as a strategic thought partner on cross-platform nuance and best practices for the paid social, organic social, creative, and influencer teams
- Present campaign performance, test results, and program-level insights to senior stakeholders
- Analyze campaign performance, identify key insights, and optimize strategies to maximize ROI against business goals
