Job Description
***Only qualified Senior Product Marketing Manager candidates located near the San Francisco, CA area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***

Experience and skillset include:
• 10+ years of experience in product marketing for credit cards, both in zero to one, and to scale
• Functional expertise in product marketing, acquisition marketing, designing and evolving customer value
• Experience in defining target metrics to measure performance such as funnel performance, ROI, growth, etc.
• Ability to develop strong business cases using a strategic view of the competitive landscape. Identifies target customer segments, and develops plans on where and how to win
• Develops a clear vision and distinctive strategy for the success of the business. Shapes approach using a highly structured thought process
• Strategic self-starter with a high degree of energy and dedication. Acts with a sense of urgency. Sets and achieves realistically aggressive goals
• Consistently uses a data-driven approach to support ideas, proposals, and decision making
• Starts with the customer and works backwards. Serves as a consistent voice and champion of customer needs throughout the business
• Strong executive presence with the ability to crisply articulate the most important details in a compelling narrative to a diverse set of audiences across levels and functional areas
• Comfortable working within a matrixed environment and can easily adapt their style to resonate with a wide range of stakeholder groups, rolling up their sleeve

Within the QuickBooks team, the Services team helps small businesses pay and manage employees, get paid, manage bills, and access financing to run their business, resulting in industry-leading cash flow benefits. These solutions help us address the statistic that 50% of small businesses go out of business within 5 years because they run into cash flow issues.

The Services Product Marketing team is seeking an 8-month parental leave coverage for the Head of Product Marketing for the Client Business Credit Card (July 2026 - February 2027).
This person is a seasoned product marketer with deep expertise in credit cards, with a strong preference for experience in small business cards. You'll be challenged to think boldly, move fast, and have a big impact on our customers' lives, their livelihoods, and the product trajectory.

Responsibilities include:
• Develop the GTM strategy for the product: From customer insights through to channel execution, creating the strategy and implementation plan to deliver on business goals? Accountable for marketing outcomes: Lead the marketing teams to deliver strong outcomes on bold business goals
• Understand market insights to guide strategic decisions: defining target customers and key segments, understanding the competitive landscape, commissioning market research, and conducting analyses on customers to further refine insights
• Enhance credit card value proposition: Develop new offers (internal and external), identify new features backed by insights, establish learning agendas to inform product refinement and coordinate new capabilities to support product features
• Build activation and engagement strategies that evolve based on scaling and key audiences, and launch new internal channels to reach new customers
• Marketing lead: Collaborate extensively with internal partner teams, guiding and influencing decision making, and connecting marketing to product, engineering and data science
• Lead a high-performing team: Mentor, develop, and support a team of two to achieve business outcomes and achieve their personal development goals
