REQUIRED EDUCATION

• High school diploma or equivalent.



REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 1–2 years of manufacturing, technical service/support, assembly, or related hands-on experience.

• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal technical instructions.

• Comfortable using computers, including Windows, Outlook, Word, and Excel.

• Ability to use laptops, touchscreen computers, and other electronic devices.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.

• Ability to communicate effectively with assemblers, technicians, engineers, and supervisors.

• Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.

• Sound judgment and a continuous-improvement mindset.

• Reliable transportation to the Pittsburgh facility.



SUMMARY

Seeking a hands-on Electro-Mechanical Medical Device Assembler to support the assembly, testing, refurbishment, and quality inspection of medical devices and components.



This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in manufacturing, electronics, electro-mechanical assembly, medical devices, or technical production who enjoys hands-on work and following detailed technical instructions.



RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assemble, test, and refurbish basic to intermediate electro-mechanical devices, components, and subassemblies.

• Follow work orders, assembly instructions, schematics, wiring diagrams, engineering specifications, and other technical documentation.

• Build products according to established specifications and procedures within a regulated manufacturing environment.

• Perform visual inspections and in-process quality checks to ensure products meet requirements.

• Use testing and inspection equipment to verify product performance and specifications.

• Identify defects or quality issues and communicate them promptly to leadership.

• Maintain accurate records related to quality, work-in-progress, testing, and data collection.

• Follow all safety, security, quality, and site procedures.

• Participate in production meetings and communicate production issues, exceptions, and metrics.

• Help identify opportunities to improve quality, productivity, and the overall work environment.

• Support training and cross-training of new assemblers as needed.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
