REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• 1–2 years of manufacturing, assembly, technical service/support, or related hands-on experience; equivalent education/training may be considered.
• Ability to follow written and verbal technical instructions.
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, laptops, and touchscreen devices.
• Ability to communicate effectively with assemblers, technicians, engineers, and supervisors.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work Monday–Thursday, 5:30 AM–3:50 PM, with overtime as needed.
• Hepatitis B vaccination provided by the company or completion of a decline waiver.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Medical device, pharmaceutical, electronics, aerospace, or other regulated manufacturing experience.
• Experience with electro-mechanical assembly, repair, refurbishment, or rework.
• Experience reading schematics, wiring diagrams, drawings, or electronic work instructions.
• Experience using hand tools, testing equipment, and inspection tools.
• Manufacturing, production, or warehouse experience involving hands-on technical work.

SUMMARY
We are seeking a Repair Assembler to support medical device manufacturing operations in Pittsburgh. This position is based in the repair service depot and focuses on minor repairs, refurbishment, component scrapping, testing, inspection, and other less-complex electro-mechanical assembly activities.

This is a longer-term opportunity with potential to transition into a broader Assembler role based on performance, skills, and business needs.

The ideal candidate has hands-on manufacturing, assembly, repair, electronics, or technical service experience and is comfortable working with detailed instructions and computer-based systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform minor repairs, refurbishment, and rework on basic to intermediate electro-mechanical medical devices.
• Complete assembly, testing, and repair activities according to established procedures and work instructions.
• Read and follow work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, engineering specifications, sketches, and assembly instructions.
• Use hand tools, testing equipment, and inspection tools to complete repair and assembly activities.
• Perform visual and in-process quality inspections to verify products meet documented specifications.
• Identify defects or product issues and communicate them to appropriate production or technical leadership.
• Accurately document repair activity, test results, quality information, work-in-progress, and other required production data.
• Use laptops, touchscreen systems, and Windows-based applications to navigate work instructions and record information.
• Follow all site safety, security, quality, and operating procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Participate in production meetings and communicate production exceptions, quality issues, and relevant metrics.
• Support continuous improvement efforts focused on quality, productivity, and workplace safety.
• As experience develops, assist with training and cross-training other employees on assembly processes.
• Work a 10-hour schedule, four days per week, with overtime as needed.
