Overview (The Production Associate)

The Production Associate is responsible for performing routine post-press production and shipping operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role involves gathering materials, inspecting finished products, generating shipping labels, and preparing customer orders for shipment while ensuring accuracy, quality, and productivity standards are met. The ideal candidate has previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, is comfortable using basic computer systems, and can successfully work a 3rd shift schedule. Prior machine operation experience and previous 3rd shift work are highly preferred.



Responsibilities

• Perform routine manual and automated post-press production operations according to established procedures

• Gather production materials and supplies efficiently from designated stock areas to support daily operations

• Prepare customer orders by verifying quantities, generating shipping labels, and ensuring all required documentation is complete

• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet customer specifications, quality standards, and order requirements

• Package, sort, label, and manifest shipments accurately using shop order documentation and shipping systems

• Utilize basic computer systems to process production, shipping, and inventory-related tasks

• Ensure all orders are labeled, sorted, and shipped according to company and customer requirements

• Maintain accuracy while meeting productivity, quality, and service expectations

• Follow all safety procedures, standard operating procedures, and quality guidelines

• Support general production and warehouse activities as assigned
