Job Description
***Only qualified Machine Operator candidates located near the Columbus, Nebraska area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***



Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent



Experience

• Previous manufacturing experience preferred

• Previous experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) preferred

• Previous experience using precision measuring instruments preferred



Technical Skills

• Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend specifications written in English

• Ability to perform basic math calculations

• Experience with SAP data entry and transaction processing

• Experience performing quality inspections and quality checks

• Ability to operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently

• Experience using microscopes, calipers and other measuring gauges

• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

• Ability to maintain accurate production records and logs

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment safely while producing quality products according to documentation

• Perform visual inspections and designated quality checks

• Complete equipment changeovers line clearances and cleaning activities

• Perform basic troubleshooting of production equipment

• Maintain compliance with quality systems safety standards and GMP requirements

• Process SAP and MES transactions accurately

• Handle raw materials and finished goods movements

• Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas

• Facilitate continuous operation of equipment during production runs

• Perform rework activities as required

• Participate in cross training activities within the department

• Utilize microscopes calipers and measuring gauges when required

• Assist with root cause investigations and process improvement activities

• Support downtime reduction and operational efficiency initiatives

• Maintain required training documentation and compliance records

• Achieve established production and quality goals

• Support team objectives and departmental business needs

• Perform packing packaging assembling labeling filling and inspection activities

• Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions

• Perform additional duties as assigned
