Required Education:



· High School Diploma with 2 years of manufacturing experience





Preferred Education:



· Associate’s Degree in a technical field with 0 years of experience





Required Skills and Experience:



· 2+ years of manufacturing experience for candidates with a High School Diploma



· Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment preferred



· Strong attention to detail



· Effective communication and teamwork skills



· Reliable and punctual attendance



· Ability to recognize deviations from established specifications



· Ability to work independently within approved process documentation



· Proficient in English, including reading, writing, interpreting charts, following diagrams, and performing basic arithmetic



· Basic computer skills, including Windows/PC experience



· Ability to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)



· Ability to work overtime as required





Position Overview:



Performs routine setup, operation, minor routine maintenance, preventative maintenance (PM), and troubleshooting of moderately complex/automated manufacturing equipment. Controls and adjusts machine settings. Inspects in-process parts to ensure consistent quality and removes defective product, packaging, and component material. Assists with root-cause analysis activities for process or product exceptions. Checks work using prescribed gauges, jigs, and fixtures to measure close tolerances. May monitor quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. Ensures accurate documentation of all relevant quality, safety, and maintenance documents. Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves basic issues associated with the machine performance and/or product quality.





Responsibilities:



· Set up, operate, and perform minor routine and preventative maintenance on moderately complex/automated manufacturing equipment



· Control and adjust machine settings to maintain production requirements



· Operate automated production equipment for filling, packing, assembling, labeling, and inspecting products



· Inspect in-process parts to ensure consistent quality



· Identify and remove defective products, packaging, and component materials



· Troubleshoot basic machine performance and product quality issues



· Use gauges, jigs, and fixtures to measure parts to close tolerances



· Analyze and evaluate charts and follow diagrams, testing, and inspection procedures



· Assist with root-cause analysis activities for process or product exceptions



· Monitor quality using statistical process control or other applicable procedures



· Identify the need for minor equipment repairs



· Maintain accurate quality, safety, and maintenance documentation



· Perform cleanup activities in sterilized areas as required



· Follow established procedures in accordance with GMP



· Follow all Client housekeeping and safety policies and procedures



· Perform other duties as required



· Work overtime as needed to meet Client business requirements
