Job Description
*****Only qualified Machine Operator candidates located near the Hunt Valley, MD area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence*****



Required Education

* High School Diploma with 2 years of manufacturing experience

OR

* Associate's (AA) Technical Degree with no prior experience required



Required Experience

* Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience with a High School Diploma

* Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment

* Experience operating automated manufacturing or production equipment

* Experience following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)



Tech Skills

* Ability to set up, operate and troubleshoot automated manufacturing equipment

* Knowledge of machine controls and machine settings

* Ability to inspect products using gauges, jigs and fixtures

* Ability to monitor quality using statistical process control methods

* Basic computer proficiency in a Windows environment

* Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English

* Ability to analyze charts, follow diagrams and perform basic arithmetic

* Ability to complete quality, safety and maintenance documentation accurately



Soft Skills

* Strong attention to detail

* Effective verbal and written communication skills

* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

* Ability to work effectively in a team environment

* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

* Reliable attendance and punctuality

* Ability to recognize deviations from established specifications

Responsibilities

* Perform routine setup, operation and adjustment of moderately complex automated manufacturing equipment

* Perform minor routine maintenance, preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting

* Control and adjust machine settings to maintain production standards

* Inspect in-process parts and remove defective products, packaging and components

* Perform filling, packing, assembling, labeling and inspection activities

* Monitor product quality using established quality control procedures

* Assist with root cause analysis for process and product issues

* Identify the need for minor equipment repairs

* Perform cleanup activities in sterilized areas when required

* Complete quality, safety and maintenance documentation accurately

* Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine performance and product quality issues

* Follow established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

* Follow all client housekeeping policies and procedures

* Follow all client safety policies and procedures

* Perform additional duties as assigned
