Job Description
Job Requirements:

• Ability to perform visual and dimensional inspections on components and finished products

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and inspection instructions

• Basic understanding of quality control and inspection processes

• Ability to use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, rulers, etc.)

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality

• Basic computer skills with the ability to enter and maintain inspection records

• Ability to perform ERP system transactions related to inspections and product release

• Ability to review and maintain accurate quality documentation

• Ability to identify, document, and segregate nonconforming materials

• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions

• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) preferred

• Ability to perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and verify inspection results is a plus

• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Effective verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to meet quality, productivity, and safety goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

• Experience working in a regulated industry (medical device, pharmaceutical, aerospace, or electronics) preferred

• Ability to maintain accurate records and support compliance with regulatory requirements

• Flexibility to support changing production priorities and business needs



Job Summary:

• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of medical device components, subassemblies, and finished products.

• Ensure products meet quality standards, engineering specifications, and regulatory requirements.

• Inspect parts using blueprints, drawings, inspection guides, and precision measuring equipment.

• Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections to verify product conformity.

• Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and verify inspection data when required.

• Review Device History Records (DHRs) and quality documentation for accuracy and compliance.

• Process inspection results, product release activities, and quality transactions within the ERP system.

• Identify, document, and quarantine nonconforming materials while initiating nonconformance reports as needed.

• Maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and company quality procedures.

• Support departmental quality, productivity, and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) goals.

• Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation to ensure product traceability.

• Work collaboratively with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Follow established procedures and work instructions while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

• This is an entry-level opportunity with training provided for candidates looking to build a career in Quality Assurance and Medical Device Manufacturing.
